2024 Green and Smart Auto Shanghai Was Grandly Held on June 5th

6月5日，以“技术引领 跨界创新”为主题的2024上海国际低碳智慧出行展览会（GSA 2024）在上海新国际博览中心全新开幕。展出总面积达6万平方米，上海车展主办方旨在将该展打造成为逢双年在上海举办的规模最大的新能源汽车展，并与“2024上海国际碳中和技术、产品与成果博览会”同期举办，共同谱写绿色出行新篇章。

On June 5th, Green and Smart Auto Shanghai 2024 (also known as GSA 2024), under the theme of “Technology Leading, Cross-border Innovation”, opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). With a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, the organizer of Auto Shanghai aims to make this exhibition the largest new energy vehicle exhibition held in Shanghai in even years. The show is concurrently held with the “2024 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo in Technologies, Products and Achievements”, writing a new chapter of green mobility altogether.

展会由上海市国际贸易促进委员会主办，上海市国际展览（集团）有限公司、上海车展管理有限公司承办，中国汽车工业协会、中国汽车工程学会和商务部外贸发展事务局为特别支持单位，安亭·上海国际汽车城为支持单位。

The exhibition is organized by Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai and co-organized by Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd. with China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China Society of Automotive Engineers (China-SAE) and Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce as the special supporting partners, and Anting-Shanghai International Automobile City as the supporting partner.

新能源汽车品牌多是本届展会的一个重要特点。展会共邀请到近200家企业，超过40个国内外知名汽车品牌积极参展，共襄上海新能源汽车行业盛会。

The amount of new energy vehicle brand is an important feature of this year's GSA. Nearly 200 enterprises and more than 40 famous domestic and international automobile brands are invited to actively participate in the exhibition to celebrate the feast of new energy vehicles. 

截至2023年底，中国新注册登记新能源汽车743万辆，新能源汽车保有量达到了2041万辆，占全球保有量一半以上，同时助力国家年度汽车产销量双双突破3000万辆。低碳智慧出行正成为中国实现碳达峰、碳中和目标至关重要的一环，举办上海国际低碳智慧出行展览会是践行绿色低碳使命、积极推进“双碳”目标的重要体现，也是上海响应国家加快形成绿色低碳交通运输方式、鼓励引导绿色出行的关键举措。

By the end of 2023, China had registered 7.43 million new energy vehicles and ownership of NEV reached 20.41 million, accounting for more than half of the world's total amount, meanwhile the annual domestic automobile production and sales volume have exceeded 30 million units. Low-carbon smart mobility has become a crucial part of China's efforts to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Therefore, the organization of Green and Smart Auto Shanghai 2024 is an important embodiment of the mission of practicing green and low carbon and actively promotes the goal of “dual-carbon” target and it also represents a key initiative for Shanghai to respond to the national efforts and accelerate the formation of green and low-carbon transportation with encouragement of green mobility.

GSA 2024 explores industry extensibility and cross-border integration with more enriched concurrent events and in-depth exchanges between industry, academia, research, government and enterprises. It also builds a communication matrix covering more fields. China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China Society of Automotive Engineers (China-SAE) and China EV100 are all invited to jointly organize a number of summit forums this year. 

2024上海国际低碳智慧出行展览会高峰论坛以“科技创新赋能汽车产业高质量发展”为主题。在上午举办的“新形势下低碳出行 车路网融合发展模式”论坛上，通过提出科学引导、提早布局、升级改造等车路网融合发展的一系列措施，为推动我国新能源汽车普及，优化高速充电品质，提升车路网协同效能提供指导意见并寻求解决方案。在下午举办的“氢能与燃料电池汽车低碳发展论坛”上，着重围绕可再生能源制氢、燃料电池系统高效运行、全生命周期碳足迹核算及碳资产开发等议题展开研讨，旨在深度研究全链条发展及相关机制，从而积极创新推动产业健康发展。

Forum of Green and Smart Auto Shanghai 2024, themed on “Scientific and Technological Innovation to Empower the High-quality Development of the Automobile Industry” will be held on June 6^th. In the morning, the forum will focus on “Low Carbon Mobility under New Situation, Research on the Development Mode of Vehicle-Road-Network Integration”. Through the proposed scientific guidance, early layout, upgrading and transformation of a series of measures for the integrated development of vehicle-road-network, the forum aims to provide guidance and seek solutions which all target to promote the popularization of China's new energy vehicles, optimize the quality of high-speed charging and enhance the effectiveness of vehicle-road-network synergies. . In the afternoon, “Forum on the Low Carbon Development of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicles” will be held. There will be discussions around renewable energy hydrogen production, efficient operation of fuel cell systems, full life cycle carbon footprint accounting and carbon asset development, which aim at in-depth research on the development of the whole supply chain and the related mechanisms, so as to actively innovate and promote the healthy development of the industry.

2024汽车电动化创新技术高峰论坛则围绕新能源“三电”（电机、电控、电池）的高质量技术发展积极开展研讨，针对日益高涨的全面电动化走势提供全方位技术解决方案，助力企业寻求产品核心竞争优势与成本效益的可持续发展。此外，主办方还举办了涵盖ESG、数字化碳管理、人工智能降碳、智能汽车算力、汽车供应链趋势等细分领域的同期论坛，共建新时代绿色智能汽车产业生态圈。

The 2024 Automotive Electrification Innovation Technology Summit will be around the high-quality technical development of new energy “EIC system” (motor, electronic control, battery), providing comprehensive technical solutions to the rising trend of electrification and empowers enterprises to seek the core competitive advantage of products and sustainable development of cost-effectiveness.
